New features in ReadClearly 3.0

New Common Usage Spanish Legal Glossary

This new glossary is designed for Spanish-language websites or pages. It includes 100 commonly encountered Spanish words in legal content and provides plain language explanations in Spanish.

New Basic English Legal Glossary with Spanish Explanations

This new glossary for English-language content is intended for bi-lingual readers or Spanish language readers for whom English is a second language. Based on the 349-term Basic English version, this glossary also displays Spanish explanations along with the English explanations for the 100 most commonly viewed terms.

Glossary Selection

Website managers can choose from a selection of glossaries. ReadClearly can be installed site-wide or on individual pages. Choose the glossary that best fits the content on the page. Currently available glossaries are:

  • 2016–08–22-EN: Basic English Legal Glossary with Spanish Explanations (349 terms): For English-language content. 100 most commonly used English terms have Spanish explanations to assist bi-lingual readers.
  • 2016–08–22-ES: Common Usage Spanish Legal Glossary (100 terms): For Spanish language content.
  • 2015–12–23-EN: Expanded Plain Language English Legal Glossary (1763 terms): Plain language explanations to assist readers understand advanced-level legal content.
  • 2015–01–15-EN: Basic English Legal Glossary (349 terms).

DLAW Integration

ReadClearly’s new glossary-selection options are now integrated with DLAW, an open source Drupal distribution designed for legal services websites. No need to embed code. Just point-and-click to select the glossary you want to use.
